This has been a very busy Fall 2018 in Guadalupe. Our Pre-K fun zone (think Head Start style program) has been a blast - for the kids, us and the parents. We are working with 12 children (ages 3 and 4) every Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm to help them get ready for Kindergarten. Check out the pictures of the kids at their pumpkin patch field trip! The kids are enjoying the program and are making great progress on their numbers, letters, colors and writing their names. We are doing monthly parent meetings to involve everybody. Thank you for your prayers. This in addition to our normal after-school tutoring and GED work. And I expect the Spring to be more of the same.
AZNT IS QUALIFIED FOR THE AZ TAX CREDIT!!!!!
This all means our facility in the Mercado runs 45+ hours a week. This has increased the cost of the program in terms of salaries and supplies. So - please remember AZNT is a qualified non profit for the AZ state tax credit - and support us. Further, this year we are one of only 20 Christian non profits chosen to be part of IMPACT AZ. We are in the running to get an additional grant of 5000$ to 35,000$ based on how well we can increase of AZ Tax Credit giving base. So please help us out!
