We are well into our new year and a new school semester. The after school tutoring program is going well. We have had eight kids graduate high school over the last 6 years and we are very happy about that. Everyone that sticks with the program graduates. We continue to work on job development, with resume help, computers to do job searches and help with interviewing skills. And we continue to work with the town of Guadalupe to try to expand this area. Thank you all for your support and your prayers!
Two big reminders:
First - it is not too late to donate to Arizona Neighborhood Transformation (AZNT) and the Guadalupe Learning Lab AND take advantage of tax savings for 2017. AZNT is qualified for the AZ tax credit - this means you can donate up to $400 individual and $800 family to AZNT AND take this money directly off any AZ state income tax you owe. And you can give until April 15, 2018 and apply it to your 2017 AZ state income tax. Please consider doing it! See below for donation link:
